Our Story
Craft Experience Days is the result of 50 years of nostalgic crafting. In 2023, we finally created an environment that supports beginners on their creative craft journeys. Learning traditional skills not only benefits mental health, but also promotes sustainability, as homemade items are considered locally sourced goods which is at the heart of our business. There's nothing quite like making something personalised, whether for yourself or as a gift for someone else, the sense of achievement not only promotes a sense of well-being but often inspires the next project. We hope you'll find inspiration in our carefully created setting, developed using locally sourced products where possible, set within the serene Hampshire countryside.

Each experience includes all the essentials: expert tuition, high-quality fabric, carefully curated patterns, and all necessary equipment. Plus, you have the opportunity to enjoy delicious food and drink throughout your time with us.

Spring 2026
This year, our goal was to bring our dream to life, and we’re thrilled to say we’ve laid the foundation with all the necessary facilities in place. With everything ready, we focused on what we’re most passionate about—sewing.
However, this is just the beginning. Looking ahead to next year, we’re planning to expand our offerings to include creative painting, beginners' knitting, and even more sewing projects. Our aim is to host specialist craft days featuring guest crafters who will bring their unique expertise and fresh ideas.

Terms and conditions for Craft experience days
Countryside Workshops
There is off road parking, however parking is at the owner's risk.
The workshop is in a rural location, it is therefore advised that flat shoes with a trainer type sole are worn.
There are a number of shallow steps with handrails in order to access the workshop and the toilet area, if you have any concerns please contact us before booking, it is accessible for some disabilities.
As the weather is sometimes unpredictable please wear layers, as both the marquee used for lunch and the workroom can be cool or very warm.
Booking a Workshop
PLEASE MAKE US AWARE IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC DIETARY REQUIREMENTS (specific days can be arranged if necessary)
Workshops are non-refundable and you cannot re-schedule or transfer to another workshop. We are happy however to accept someone in your place, provided they have read the terms and conditions and contact us either by email or telephone 7 days prior to the workshop.
Young people aged 11-16 yrs must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult does not need to be booked into the workshop as a chaperone, but special arrangements can be made for their food and drink.
Our Right to Cancel
The experience day requires a minimum of 2 people, in the unlikely event of the workshop being unsubscribed, you will be contacted as soon as possible to either rearrange to an alternative date or be provided with a full refund. Please allow 5 business days for full refund.
